Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh are bracing for significant rainfall and hail, as forecasts predict severe weather conditions. A red alert has been issued for several districts in Uttarakhand, including Dehradun, Tehri, Pauri, and Haridwar, for Monday. The Meteorological Department anticipates extremely heavy rainfall in certain areas, with heavy to very heavy rain expected in others. An orange alert has also been announced for September 2, indicating very heavy to heavy rain in districts such as Dehradun, Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, and Bageshwar. Many regions in the state are likely to experience substantial downpours on Monday. Additionally, the Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for heavy rain across 15 districts and has provided warnings for 29 other districts, with thunderstorms and lightning also predicted in various locations.
